WELCOME TO PANEURITHMIA
PanEuRhythmy is a Sacred Dance, part of the Eternal Teaching that is expressed again in the Age of Aquarius, initially under the guidance of Master Beinsa Douno, in Bulgaria, and later of Master Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov, in France.
The Universal White Brotherhood (Beinsa Douno) and the Universal White Fraternity (Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov) usually practice paneurhythmic exercises , with small differences, but always as another tool within the Teaching.
Every year, thousands of people from around the world gather to practice PanEuRhythmy in its birthplace, the Rila Mountains in Bulgaria.
Master Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov warned that the Dance, due to its beauty and grace, could be distorted, taken out of context, performed superficially, and even attempted to be profited from. Therefore, every disciple, internal or external, must understand the importance of learning it within the framework that explains it, studying it, and delving into its full dimension, as it encompasses the truths of the Initiatory Science transmitted by both Masters.
Schools, institutes, and study centers were predicted by Master Beinsa Douno in relation to the Paneurhythmic Exercises...and so it has come to pass. The intention of this page is to bring you closer to a responsible learning process, which cannot, under any pretext, be separated from the teachings of the Fraternity. ..however, this page cannot replace his personal teaching by qualified disciples.

IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF PANEURYTHMY
What does the word "Paneurhythmy" mean?
It is composed of three roots:
1. The prefix "pan" means "all," "universal," "cosmic." Here it implies that we are talking about a rhythm that reigns throughout nature, the basis of all being.
2. The second prefix "eu" means "true," "superior." Here it implies "where everything comes from"; it signifies the essence, the real, the essential in the world.
3. The third root, "rhythmia," "rhythm," means correctness in movements or in any other external expression of things.
Literally means: cosmic higher rhythm.
Paneurhythmy is the great universal harmony of Movement. All life is Paneurhythmy.
The 1938 book, considered the first official book and the only one with the approval of Master Beinsa Douno, offers two important elements in the section on the Description of Movements . The first is that the subtitle is "Reasonable Intercourse with the Forces of Living Nature," and the book is also called "Paneurhythmic Exercises," not Paneurhythmic Dance.
Another definition in the Fundamentals section of the same book is: "harmonious creative manifestation of the Divine Principle in the universe."
What function does it serve? Why has it manifested?
The text "Fundamentals" begins by presenting cultural and epochal changes as forms of evolutionary cycles. Culture, in the emerging Age of Aquarius, brings something new... what is it?: " the awakening of cosmic consciousness, in which personal life will be transcended and man will enter the unlimited life of the whole, of the universal." Therefore, according to the signs existing today, we can say that what is coming is the spirit of brotherhood, of unity.
The new ideas that now come like a powerful wave to flow through culture, to transform it, are manifesting in every sphere of life. Today we can see traces of their life-giving action.
However, they must also find a suitable form through which to express themselves ; that is, they must also find an external expression through which to act upon the deepest forces of human nature. Such a form is paneurhythmy.
Thus, its form is not arbitrary and is an expression of the spirit of fraternity. This is important because there is a correspondence, a profound relationship between the Teaching and the exercises, the former being the framework and the cause, and the latter an expression that simultaneously allows for ordering and improving the manifestation. The same cited text addresses the crystallization of forces and how, at times, they become deformed or reach points where they cannot be fully expressed. Paneurhythmy is thus a tool that will allow for a better expression of unity.
Round Dance?
Paneurhythmy is not a circular dance, in the sense that this idea has taken today, and anyone who confuses it with just another dance is far removed from its profound meaning for human development. Paneurhythmic movements should not be confused with ordinary gymnastics or ballet. They are based on the deepest laws of human connection with the energy of nature and its use for growth. Everything needs to move. This is the law of nature. But when these movements are rational, we gain something. In paneurhythmic exercises, human beings enter into the exchange of the living forces of nature.
When do you dance?
PanEuRhythmy is danced in spring and summer mornings in the midst of nature. This allows pure air and light to freely penetrate the human body and renew it. Prana is most present in the mornings, and it is also deposited in the grass or lawn on which we dance (barefoot) to absorb it. Performing PanEuRhythmy creates favorable conditions for us to come into contact with the various energies and harness their power.
Initiatory exercise?
They are a method of self-education for intelligent beings. PanEurhythmy is a science, a method that regulates human physical, spiritual, and mental functions. It is a set of human thoughts, feelings, and actions.
Movements are accumulators; through them, human beings connect with the creative and constructive forces of Nature, receive them, and they assist them in their development. These forces are revitalizing forces.
Because the movements of PanEuRhythmy are in harmony with the cosmic rhythm, which sets the whole of life in motion, they activate the dormant forces of the human soul and drive its activity.
The PanEuRhythmy movements are of such a nature that through them, humankind sends forces, thoughts, and ideas into the world, where they continue to work to transform it.
History of Paneurhythmy
Among the Master's first disciples was Boris Nikolov. In three short stories, he tells us about the emergence of Paneurhythmy while in Izgreva, around the Master.
It was in the late 1920s, a short ditty sung by the Maestro, and the students' inability to find the right steps, even though they knew music and were experienced in folk dance, was the first indication that this was neither a common form of music nor a common form of movement.

Boris Nikolov
The Master worked in a very natural way. It was at night, five or six disciples gathered, discussing Bulgarian songs, joros, and folk dances. From this, in this fraternal sharing, inspiration came, like a flash of lightning, to the Master. This was the first impulse.
After working all night, the next morning the Maestro was back in the meadow early. Melody, singing, study, steps, practice, and correction. Exercise after exercise. In a concise and vivid way, Boris Nikolov tells us how Paneurhythmy was created in just one month.
He gives the first commission to Olga Slávcheva, a poetess... and the lyrics begin to be written.
Obstacles along the way: There are several examples of how, from the very beginning, when Paneurhythmy was taking place, certain spirits appeared, entering one or the other, and trying to change it. From the very beginning, they wanted to push it in another direction. This also occurred in the middle and at the end, when Paneurhythmy was taking place. One such case was that of Angel Yanushev.
Maria Todorova
There is a great responsibility in performing the exercises correctly, harmoniously. This was the case from the beginning. Those who know the history of the Izgrevians, the Master's recommendations and emphasis, can no longer dance like crazy, believing that it's just a matter of relaxing, or putting one's heart into it, or putting good intentions into it, as if that were enough. That attitude can create chaos in the world. A few words from the Master: "The exercises must be corrected and performed correctly. That cannot be done! (He was referring to the fact that they danced with differences among themselves.) You harm Me, yourselves, and the rest of humanity, because from here, these incorrectly performed exercises create disharmonious states and turmoil, and these are transferred and transferred to the rest of humanity. You bear responsibility for what is happening here in the meadow, also with Paneurhythmy, and for what emerges from it and transcends the world, and creates the destiny of humanity."
Paneurhythmy has been recorded in the three worlds; it links the three worlds (physical, spiritual, and divine). The Paneurhythmy that is above serves as an ideal for the human soul and the human spirit. The human soul and spirit that dance in the Invisible World, and the human soul and spirit that have descended to Earth, seek communion with God. By performing the exercises correctly, we harmonize with the world above. The world above, in turn, harmonizes with the Divine World. We cannot dance the Paneurhythmy of the Higher Worlds for now because our bodies would not resist. Therefore, the movements of Paneurhythmy in the three worlds are not exactly the same. However, the Master announced that, thanks to an Envoy from above, we would have words similar to those of the Invisible World in our Paneurhythmy. This was said at that time, when Paneurhythmy was performed, when the Master brought it down from above, from the Invisible World... and it created great expectations.
Finally, Olga Slavcheva is entrusted by the Master to receive the words. The year is 1934. Once again, the Dark Forces try to hinder the arrival of Paneurhythmy, this time with the letter, interrupting Olga's auspicious state at the expected moment. The sister is deeply saddened by not being able to complete the task.
Olga Slavcheva
After a failed first attempt, the Master tells Olga Slavcheva that she will have another chance, but if she fails, she will have to answer to the Lord. Finally, the Being of the Sun, Asavita, is able to deliver the letter to Olga. The Master approves the letter.
The 1935 text, "Paneurhythmy," appears; on one side, Olga writes Asineta's name.
It contains an original version of the lyrics to Paneurhythmia and the lyrics to four other songs, including three songs the Maestro had given to Olga Slavcheva. That same year, Olga also published "Asavita. The Divine Song."
In 1941 the book "Paneurhythmy. Songs of harmonious movements. Music and movements of the Master" was published. Every disciple must read the Fundamentals of Paneurhythmy, where the Master indicates the Principles and laws of Paneurhythmy, and also deals with the forces that have created it .

The connections between the body, soul, and human spirit are experienced when danced correctly. The perception of the two Paneurhythmys, that of the Earth and that of the Invisible World, the communion of the human being in all its dimensions and at the same time with the Beings above, contact with the spiritual world, were everyday experiences for the Izgrevians at that time... when the idea, the music, and the movements were joined by the words in the lyrics, under the direction of the Master. For the disciples, Paneurhythmy is a sacred act and a consecration.
The Paneurhythmy wheel is a living circle. The Master gave the rules and insisted that there not be a great distance between the couples. He would say, "Close the doors." This idea is very important in the consciousness of the dancer, because open doors allow the living circle to be broken, and blessings and energies to be stolen and used for the Black Lodge. How important precision is! Unconsciousness in execution leaves us with impaired harmony, disharmony. It is a double-edged sword that can propagate the Master's Word, harmony, or quite the opposite. It is important to dance with harmonious thoughts and feelings, with precision and full awareness, so that New Life may be created. Dragan Petkov tells us the details of the teaching, the states achieved when the Master's instructions are followed, and the dangers of those who ignore and do not understand what they are really doing when dancing.
In 1938, the fundamental book, "Paneurhythmy," was published. It was the last book whose text was approved by the Maestro. The four dimensions were completed: Principles of Paneurhythmy, the spiritual meaning of the 28 exercises, music for two violins, and a brief description of the movements. The musical staff was added. The movements were described as recorded by Milka Periklieva. Boyan Boev collaborated in polishing the text.
The experience is narrated by Milka in a classic text of history according to the Master's main disciples.

Video showing chronologically the emergence and development of Paneurhythmy in Bulgaria. Testimonies from disciples, publications and fundamental texts, its spread throughout the world through France and England, until its arrival in America. Evidently, many notable events of the White Brotherhood's teachings in other parts of Europe were not considered for this summary, as the aim was to follow the path that led it to South America. However, the historical basis in Bulgaria, France, and England is satisfactorily described. Vesela Nestorova's contribution in translating the lyrics into English and her role as a teacher, as well as the continuing influence of Maria Mitovska, were missing some detail. In any case, a summary is always unfair, and many important names will be incorporated from other angles into the page. The details of the music and its variations or adaptations, the lyrics and their critical discussion, and of course, the details and changes in each movement require specific work to be properly clarified. Little by little, this will also be included.

It was the last dance delivered by Master Beinsa Douno in the early 1940s. It connects us with the central source of Divine Love, Wisdom, and Truth. In "Sunbeams," we work beyond the physical .
Life is a Parable
The inspiring Word of the Master and the majestic and extraordinary landscapes of the Rila Mountains transport us to the enchanting days of the Gathering at the White Brotherhood's Summer Spiritual School.
