Teachings of Master Beinsa Douno

Master Peter Deunov, spiritual name Beinsa Douno
(1864-1944), is one of the best-known figures in Bulgarian spiritual history and culture.
At the beginning of the 20th century, he founded the White Brotherhood School, located in Izgrev, a few kilometers from Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. This school was dedicated to the study and application of the Teachings.
To paraphrase...in its deepest sense, the White Brotherhood is the rational cosmogonic force of light and goodness, guided by Christ.
The true White Brotherhood is not in any particular nation, and all people (writers, priests, preachers, philosophers) are its servants. Culture, truth in the world, is always driven by its powerful force, by its powerful spirit.

It is important to understand that in his view, it is not something visible, not a sect, not a church; it is something living, outside of the corrupt conditions in which people live.
A theologian and philosopher, with a background in medicine, he created PanEurhythmy—a Sacred Dance—as an essential part of a philosophy of life based on the principles of Love, Wisdom, and Truth.
His teaching, based on Christian principles, is open, non-sectarian, and non-separatist.
With more than 4,000 lectures, music, and exercises, the Master showed humanity the path to the New Culture, "a culture of God's love, a culture of God's wisdom, a culture of God's truth that will teach people how to live."
The White Brotherhood is, above all, a very lofty ideal, a supreme goal to which all reasonable and awakened souls of modern humanity aspire.
